Clark E. Tedford, is the founder, President, and CEO of OpZira. He previously co-founded LumiThera, where he served as President and CEO from 2013 until its acquisition by Alcon in 2025 following the global success of the Valeda® Light Delivery System. Earlier in his career, Dr. Tedford held senior leadership roles at PhotoThera, Omeros, Solentix, and Gliatech, and began his scientific career at Schering-Plough Research Institute. With more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Dr. Tedford has combined scientific innovation with executive leadership across multiple therapeutic areas. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Iowa and completed his postdoctoral training in the Department of Pharmacology at Loyola University Medical School.
